Yoram Eliyahu Donated Sefer Torah To Yeshiva

When a local Yeshiva opened up a new high school branch in his community, Yoram wanted to help. His strong belief in both education generally and Jewish education specifically was a driving force in helping out in whatever way he could. He donated a Sefer Torah to the Yeshiva's new high school and it is still in use today.

There were many events that influenced and inspired Yoram Eliyahu throughout his life. These events helped shape his present dedication to his community. One of Yoram's earliest inspirations came from Chabad a large Jewish movement that provides outreach and educational activities for Jews. He first encountered them during his three-year term in the Israeli army. Yoram Eliyahu was born in Kirat-Shmona, a small town nestled in the mountains of the northern part of Israel. Yoram grew up in a family of modest income with four siblings and hard working parents. His father was a construction worker who raised his family in a traditional and observant home.
